The integration of STid technology offers SPLAN the following benefits:

  • It enables identification of employees and visitors with multiple additional technologies: RFID, NFC and Bluetooth;
  • It simplifies the management of temporary access in offices, parking lots or any other infrastructure.

STid Business Development Director Susana Gallegos explains: “New factors are starting to become increasingly important when designing High-Security buildings. Nowadays, staff members are more concerned about having an exceptional experience at work and appreciate the building technology environment as a whole. Solutions must be user-friendly, have hands-free options and be fully integrated.  STid Group and Splan are reinventing Access Control by providing a robust visitor management platform that allow users to interact simultaneously with Virtual Access Cards, QR Codes and RFID Cards on a single reader”.

STid’s Architect® Blue QR Code Readers are so called “multi-technology” readers. These readers support RFID, NFC, and Bluetooth® and are, in addition, equipped with a QR code / Barcode module to enable the identification of employees and visitors. Identification by QR code simplifies the management of temporary access in offices, parking lots or any other infrastructure.
