Role Overview: To manage a team of Security Officers, take ownership of all incidents and emergencies during your shift reporting back to our client on progress. Deal with any HR or personnel development issues for your Security Team and implement any new procedures instructed by the Account Manager and/or the client. This is a shift role working 07:00 -19:00 on a rotating shift pattern of 3 days, 3 nights, 3 off. Key Responsibilities but are not limited to: To Assist the Security Control operatives with the Fire Control System.

To ensure that all relevant paperwork is correctly filled out and signed. To monitor and direct external building patrols by Security Officers. To monitor the Security Team and direct them to respond to all incidents. Ensure full compliance with site policies and procedures.

To liaise and work in partnership with the Front of House reception team and provide support as and when necessary when operations dictate. To be responsible for the administration, issue and return of all keys and radio communication equipment. To ensure that all incidents, which occur during the course of your duties, are reported promptly and recorded within the guidelines laid down and efficiently dealt with. To comply with data protection guidelines regarding disclosure of personal and confidential information.

To maintain a key element of the Control Centre function by utilising the technology available to ensure that as far as possible the building remains secure and any suspicious activity is noted. To conduct a patrol of the premises using CCTV internally noting results in the D. O. B.

To be responsible for all security equipment issues to security staff during their shift, all equipment must be signed and accounted for. To report to Security Control Centre when necessary to authenticate rights of access. To prevent unauthorised access into the building. To direct couriers and any deliveries to the Loading Bay.

To manage day to day employees who manage and operate the Loading bay and Reception. To notify the site Control Centre when unauthorised vehicles park outside the front of the building. To manage and control leave requests, sickness and implement and maintain all monthly security rosters. To assist with the recruitment of new staff.

Adhere to and be conversant with all Building/Client Emergency procedures. To liaise with and attend meetings at the request of our client and/or the Security Account Manager. To work to the values and standards of Interserve alongside working in partnership with our client team to ensure their own values and standards are met and exceeded. May be required to cover floor positions when required.

Carrying out internal/external patrol when required. Candidate Profile: Excellent communication (both written and oral), organisational and IT skills (Essential). Experience in working as a Security Supervisor within corporate environment (Essential). Concierge / Hospitality / Meet and Greet experience (Essential).

A valid SIA Licence (Essential) – Door Supervisor (Essential). Demonstrable proactive and professional approach to security.
