We win awards. We are pleased to be recruiting for a Night Manager for our client based in London(. ). As a Night Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Account Manager in coordination of security operations, as well as managing, training, and assessing the performance of the entire security personnel.

The Night Manager is expected to ensure AI’s and SOP’s are accurate and up to date. You will also be responsible for conducting internal investigations when necessary, providing courteous service, managing the schedules of security personnel, and tracking their attendance dealing with welfares and disciplines whilst ensuring the best possible service is delivered to the client. As a Night Manager you will: Report & liaise daily with the Account Manager, the teams across the site, and the client representative to ensure effective communication of all security operational matters pertaining to the management of the contract Develop and review Security site, H&S procedures, Business Continuity plans, SOP’s, and Policies Ensure constant development of the staff and champion the Staff Welfare and Development Programme (SWDP) Together with Account Manager lead the technology implementation and development strategy ensuring that best industry practices are implemented in a day to day business Conduct annual site survey’s and support in reviewing or implementing site documentation, processes, and procedures. Chair Operations and Supervisors Meetings promote team collaboration and share information of any undertakings and /or activities that cold infringe on the service.

Supervise and be responsible for scheduling ensuring suitable staff is always on duty and source appropriate training to ensure this is received in accordance with the roles and employee development plan Participate in events management, coordinate security requirements with organisers and communicate to the teams ensuring efficient operations Essential Skills Previous experience as a successful Operations manager. Door Supervisor SIA Licence Deliver excellent customer service Advance IT Skills including Microsoft office tools, Time and Attendance managementsystems, Effective utilisation of CCTV, intruder detection systems and alarms Demonstrate the ability to think and act quickly in emergencies or under pressure, participate in producing monthly and quarterly reports Demonstrate reliability including the ability to deliver high standards of both punctuality and attendance to ensure team effectiveness and availability Experience in incidents and business continuity management Self-management and results-driven thinking If successful, as a condition of employment, you will need to be able to evidence a minimum of 5 year’s written work history – this evidence needs to include any gaps of over 31 days and periods of self-employment . Failure to provide this evidence will result in Wilson James not being able to comply with the BS7858 Standard (the British Standards Institution for screening individuals employed in a security environment) and therefore no offer of employment is able to be made. Desirable Skills Experience in delivering security solutions Previous security industry or business to business experience Educational courses in security management.
