They have offices in 157 countries and advise businesses all over the world, spanning the public, private and financial sectors servicing 85% of the global fortune 500 companies, About the Role We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Building Security Manager to manage the day to day-operational requirements of the Site Security Team and to lead, inspire and motivate the team to service excellence.

The Building Security Manager will build a strong and effective client relationship and report directly to the National Security Account Manager. Key responsibilities To be a key customer contact for all daily operational Security & Health and Safety related matters and building a strong and effective client relationship based around good verbal and written communications and prompt responses to requests. Report & liaise on a daily basis with the National Account Manager to ensure effective communication of all matters pertaining to the delivery of a high standard of professional security Ensure strong links are established and maintained with local police, CTSA, CPA and other security managers in the immediate area Ensure Compliance with Pilgrims SLA’s, minimising associated risk to the company and client Have full line managerial responsibility for the entire Belfast Security Team, including annual leave, sickness, lateness, etc. Undertake incident management responsibilities as defined by the Client & the National Account Manager and be a point of contact out of hours in order to assist with emergencies/incidents Ensure that supervisors undertake their responsibilities for the professional conduct and development of the security officers on their team Ensure all employees are motivated and trained to the required standard and subject to regular effective performance monitoring.

Take full management responsibility for the officer audit/one-to-one processes & procedures, bringing issues of concern to the attention of the Account Manager in a timely fashion. Take responsibility for and manage all staff conduct and performance and maintain fair and consistent disciplinary procedures in line with Company Policies and Procedures. Play a proactive part in the control of staff turnover and liaise with HR & Recruitment to ensure that new team members are sourced appropriately and that prospective candidates are interviewed, vetted and employment commenced in accordance with company policies and procedures. Cooperate with Pilgrims Group Ltd and the client so that the company can carry out its statutory duty under Health and Safety at work etc.

Who is constantly looking for innovation and critically assesses their own and their team’s performance. Working Hours and Pattern Working on average 45 hours per week 08:00 – 17:00 typically. However, you will be on call 24 hours so flexibility is required.
