Akuvox integrates its smart intercom with Alexa and RTI

Akuvox claims that all door entry features, like door unlocking, can now be access from RTI touch panels. Also video communication and video monitoring is now available from the RTI touch panels. A modern Akuvox video intercom station, like the Akuvox R20A, can be installed at entrances to provide entrance management and monitoring tasks.
Alexa is the cloud-based voice service of Amazon Echo devices, which support users with tasks, access to entertainment and information and more. Using Alexa is as simple as asking a question. Just ask to play music, read the news and control your smart home and Alexa is available to make your life easier by allowing you to control your environment with your voice.
Akuvox now allows its clients to use the Akuvox IT82 indoor monitor to be voice controlled by any Amazon Echo device. Through Alexa the functionality of the indoor monitor can be accessed, including switching modes and provide access to guests.
Akuvox smart intercom has previously been integrated with the systems of popular smart home vendors like iRidium, Zipato, Fibaro, Savant, Core, Control4 and Creston.
